FAQ’s

I just received my order, now what?

We recommend you wash your Reusable Pads before you start using them. This way, you will ensure that they start performing to the best of their abilities from day one.

How do I wash my Reusable Pads?

Rinse or soak in cold water during 30 minutes before either hand washing or using a washing machine at a maximum temperature of 40º C. / 104º F

How do I dry my Reusable Pads?

Stretch your wet Reusable Pad to prevent shrinkage and air dry it for best results. Tumble drying on low heat is a good option as well.

How do I know what size I need?

There are 2 different day sizes. "S" for light flows, "M" for medium flows.

What about if I have a super heavy flow or want to use them at night?

If you have a super heavy flow or need extra protection for the night, we have a "LeakProof Panties" that guarantees up to 12 hours of full protection.

Do the Pads smell bad after their use?

Reusable Pads are made with sustainable Bamboo Charcoal which is known for neutralizing odors.

How many Reusable Pads do I need?

We suggest a minimum of 6 pads to change, wash and dry. Most women have an average of 12-18 pads. There are a few factors that influence the number of pads needed such as the intensity of your flow and how often you wash and dry your pads.

How do I wear my Reusable Pads?

The plain uni-colored (black or white) fabric faces you and the patterned leakproof side faces your underwear.

How do Reusable Pads stay in place?

Reusable Pads have wings which fold around your underwear and are clipped together to ensure that the pad stays in place.

How often should I change my Reusable Pad?

Reusable Pads can last up to 5-8 hours, depending on your flow. However, every woman is different and you will easily learn when it's time to change your pad once you start using them.

Do Reusable Pads leak?

No, the back of the pad (the patterned one) is made with leakproof PUL. However, just like any other pad, you will need to change after several hours to avoid unpleasant surprises according to your flow.

How can I manage using Reusable Pads when I am at work/school all day?

You can carry your Reusable Pads in a carrying bag that we include. It is great to store clean pads and to keep the used ones when away from home.

What material are Reusable Pads made of?

The first layer that comes in contact with the skin is made of hypoallergenic and ecological bamboo fabric, perfect for sensitive skin. It keeps you fresh and neutralizes odors.

The inside of the pads is made of super-absorbent microfiber. These fiber is made of 70% bamboo fiber and 30% cotton.

The 2 layers of super absorbent bamboo microfiber make it up to 3 times more absorbent than a disposable pad.

Finally, the bottom is a waterproof and breathable 100% polyester synthetic fabric to prevent leakage even during heavy flow days.

What certifications do our reusable Reusable Pads have?

All Reusable Pads components (inner fabric, bottom fabric, snap buttons, etc.) are SGS certified.

These certifications guarantee the absence of undesirable substances for health and skin (formaldehyde, heavy metals, chlorinated phenols, pesticides, phthalates, organotins, chlorinated benzene and toluene, carcinogenic or allergenic dyes, etc.).

What do I do if there are stains on my pad?

To ensure that no stains remain, it's ideal to pre-wash and let your pads dry in the sun, as it makes them dry naturally, has antimicrobial properties and whitens.

If the stain is still not removed, you can try putting a few drops of hydrogen peroxide directly on it and let it dry in the sun without rinsing.

This is a tip as an eventual bleaching technique, not said to clean your cloth pads as a protocol or as a regular wash. Hydrogen peroxide is very abrasive and should only be used occasionally to ensure that the fabric does not deteriorate.

In any case, if the stain is not completely removed, it is not a problem. It does not mean that it is dirty. And you are the only one who is going to use it!

Your hips

Measure the widest part of your hips.

How To Measure

In order to select the correct clothing size, we recommend you take the following measurements using a soft tape measure. If necessary, ask someone else to help.

1. Bust
Wearing a bra, pass the tape measure straight across your back, under your arms and over the fullest point of your bust.

2. Waist
Pass the tape measure around your natural waistline, at the narrowest point of your waist. The tape measure should sit snugly against your body, but should not be pulled too tight.

3. Hips
Pass the tape measure across your hipbone, around the fullest point of your hips.

4. Dress Length
Standing up straight, in bare feet and with both feet together, measure from the middle of the most prominent bone at the base of your nape downwards as far as the length indicated in the product details.
